Since 2017 the Glenallachie distillery has been the playground of master distiller Billy Walker – a 50-year veteran in the Scotch whisky industry. As one of his pride and joy – each batch of Glenallachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength works as a guidepost for the next step of the distillery’s journey. Batch 9 is a marriage of whiskies aged for a minimum of 10 years in a combination of Pedro Ximenez, oloroso, Rioja, and medium-toasted American oak barrels.
