Each year, one of the most exciting things about the new Madden installment is finding out about player ratings. We're yet to get the complete picture, however EA Sports has now announced the first rating 99 players in Madden NFL 25 and includes some famous names from the NFL.

The first batch of 99-rated players included New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller, and Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly. You can click on any player's name to read about what EA Sports had to say about the rating it assigned to each player.

A video released as part of E3 2022 last month contains ratings for a variety of other players at a variety of positions. But, the versions of the game that was shown at E3 last month was not yet final, which means that the figures might not be correct. A complete list of ratings for players at every position is expected to be released in the next few months and weeks before the launch in August. So keep watching for updates. Like every year, player ratings will fluctuate according to week-to-week basis, in line with real-world performance once the season gets underway.

It seems that EA can't catch a break when it comes to the newest entry in its sports series, FC 25. EA has long seen controversy surrounding FC 's Ultimate Team mode, and has even been sued over the practice of microtransactions in the game. Now, EA has announced it is looking into some allegations over employee behavior.

Recently, some Twitter users alleged that a FC 25 employee was selling FC Ultimate Team cards for thousands of dollars. Some of these cards are incredibly rare to obtain through random player packs, but apparently the employee could just add these cards to a player's account, for a fee of course. Some FC Ultimate Team (FC 25 Ultimate Team) cards that were being sold were Prime Icon Moments and Team of the Year cards for upwards of $2000.

The situation came to EA's attention after FC players got #EAGate trending on Twitter. In a statement on Twitter, EA Sports announced that it would be conducting a full investigation into the allegations. If it turns out that an employee was truly engaged in the selling of rare cards, EA Sports promises swift action against them. The company plans to update the FC community a ta later time, probably once the investigation is completed.

All signs point to the allegations being true, as sending certain cards to a cheap EAFC 25 Coins player's account seems like something only an employee could do. This capability seems like it would be used from a customer service standpoint to address glitches and errors where a player lost a card they had obtained. However, it's also a possibility that the cards sold are obtained through hacking, and the "employee friend" is just a ruse.
